Beggs Mayor wins re-election
The incumbent mayor of Beggs won re-election on Tuesday
capturing 149 votes to take 56.44 percent of the vote in a
four-person race.
O.G. “Corky” Thompson garnered the second largest total
with 66 votes or 25 percent.
The other two opponents included Terry Fox who had 40
votes or 15.15 percent and Janelle Purdy with 9 votes or 3.41
percent.
